Title: The US vs John Lennon

Some friends and I rented this documentary about John Lennon's political life one night and it was freaking great.

The entire time though I had to keep reminding myself that John Lennon as well as the other Beatles were considered musical gods and for a person as famous as himself to really speak out on social issues(i.e. Vietnam, civil rights) was unheard of at the time.

It includes some great interviews with people he worked with and against(G. Gordon Liddy!!!).  Plus, it shows more news footage of his bed ins with Yoko and his reasoning behind it.

I saw that a while back. I really enjoyed it. I had no idea that he was so involved in politics.
