Title: Cha-cha-challenge

Okay I'm starting another thing and hopefully I'll y'know follow through better on this one.

Premise: I give start weekly thread every Sunday with a new theme such as "holiday cheer," "thank god this creature doesn't really exist" or "summer vacation."
You scramble to draw, paint, weld, photograph, collage, photoshop, screenprint, sculpt, or etch something that elegantly fits the theme.
First place every week gets 3 points, second place gets two, third place gets three one. My uh team of qualified judges gives out prizes not based completely on prettiness - concept and execution are equally important.
Winner at the end of 10 weeks gets a real physical prize mailed to them, courtesy of me. Something good.

I want at least like 10 people doing this. Hopefully more. I want to draw the hidden QC artists out of the hypothetical cracks. Yesssss?

EDIT: Poems, short stories and music may or may not be allowed. I want this to be primarily artart but allowing these things may open it up to a lot more people.

I am certainly interested in trying this, though I don't know that I'll be able to put in too much when the summer session of school starts up. Nevertheless, I'd like to try it for as long as I can.
