Fucking hell, I might have to get a PSP because of this game. It looks awesome. (http://kotaku.com/337036/patapon-ces-trailer) Of course, I'm a sucker for weird, offbeat Japanese stuff that doesn't fit in with the usual genres. If you can't tell from the trailer, it's essentially a rhythm-based RTS, where all the unit commands are mapped to drum beats that you perform with the face buttons. Staying in time with the beat makes your units perform better, and you unlock new chants and unit types as you progress through the game. It's made by the same guys as Loco Roco, for those of you familiar with that. Anyway, it just came out in Japan a few days ago, and it's due out in February in the States, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

I remember seeing this on gaygamer. Right afterwards I said, "I want a pssppppp"

Dammit, me too.
It's both cute and hard-core looking.

Pata-pata-pata-pon.
I'm going to be chanting that in my sleep now.
Game is so fucking awesome. If you have a PSP, get it now. It just came out today.

I just priced this game today.
It looks pretty good. I don't have a psp, but like everybody else, this game is making me think that I just may get one. It looks all kinds of interesting, and fun.

This is one of the few games that makes me wish I had a PSP

Now I'm even more sad that my boyfriend sold his PSP. Damn him! First he takes away Lumines, now he ruins my chances at this!

My buddy just got it the other day. A group of us was hanging out at his place playing Rock Band and Warhawk...or rather they were playing Rock Band and Warhawk...I was on the couch compleatly absorbed in this game...if only I had the money for a PSP...

Pretty cool game of Simon. Kinda' reminds me of Wiz n Liz mixed with any old random Treasure game.

The only complaint I have is the repetativeness of the minigames. Why couldn't they randomize the beats for them, or even just have a few different onestocycle through? It gets tedious just doing the EXACT same thing over and over.
