I've noticed recently that you guys seem to think you know exactly what I am about. So, in an attempt to make things more interesting around here, and to keep you from getting bored of me, I'm offering to let you choose just what I am about! Yes, you can determine how I post.

For clarity's sake, a creepy photothread complimenter is someone who just posts in the photothread making ALMOST inappropriate comments that make everyone feel dirty, but somehow isn't called out.
Inane drivel I don't need to explain, you can see it in 95% of the threads here.
Ol' Reliable is someone who has been here a while, who still tries to keep things nice and fun. They tend to have a very complacent style, but, unlike me, isn't an abusive asshole.
I will also just be an abusive asshole if people select that option, but it has to be a write in because I forgot it in the poll.
Also, if people want, I would be willing to be a lulzbot. I will make all of the terrible jokes with all of the terrible internet slang and all of the obnoxious spellings, but I will do it completely not tongue in cheek. 100% serious internet inanity. Also a write in.

It seems to me that we have enough assholes on the board. I agree with Est on this one. Just show us the nice guy people say you are.
If you dislike the WCT that much, go invade the general discussion forums yourself and don't rely on other people to hate on them for you. Better yet, ignore them.They seem pretty harmless to me, since I don't read them and the people who do seem to stick to where they are comfortable, which is out of the way, in the general discussion forums. Which seem to be a whole other planet. Do you really want to be one of the dicks that instigated the 'asshole invasion'?
Politely telling people to shape up is far more effective than asking for a flame war. It's quick, it's clean and those people will begin to fit in better. Trying to abuse people into leaving the forums is just begging for trouble, and given that Est seems to be an intelligent and rational man, probably a good way to get banned.

Yeah, you can just click the little arrow next to the "QC Discussion" part on the forum index and the little box will fold up and you can never see the weekly comic thread again. No need to be a dick about it.

Thirded. The idea of sending Kieffer is a ridiculously assinine one. The last thing we need is to have a flame war across the same fucking forum. Look around at the Sandbox people, you know what happened the last time Kieffer was encouraged to start a flame war? Jeph closed off half the fucking forum, and with good reason.
I kind of like it here and would rather nobody instigate high levels of bullshit with other sections of the forum.
If I were forum dictator, the lot of you would be fucking shot.

A few years back we'd had a "flame war" with the Sam and Fuzzy boards that was good natured and funny as hell. We tried to do the same thing with Dumbrella, and it failed. I hate it when everyone paints Kieffer to be the OMG HORRID FUCKING ANTAGONIST for anything and everything. Sure he's an antagonist, but he is not the only one, and to try and call him on shit he didn't do is kinda lame.

A large number of his posts make him look like a complete jerk, but people seem to like him. I want to see the nice cool Kieffer that people want to hang out with, not the cruel one that goes out of his way to insult people.

I remember when his username was Makeout Hobo and from what I remember, he wasn't as much of a jerk as people think he is now. And from what people say about him in meat life, he seems like a pretty cool guy.
But as sometimes I think he's funny and other times I really don't get it, I'm with est. Can we have a nice Kieffer for a week at least?

For the record, I'm going off of heresay. The other day, when Jeph got drunk and changed around some shit on the boards, the topic of the Sandbox's closing came about and most of the people in there who were around back then cited Kieffer as initiating the flame war. I'm not blaming Kieffer for the Sandbox's closing, I'm blaming people egging him on to do something similar. I was looking through the Sandbox the other day for some history on it and it's obvious to anyone willing to dig that it wasn't purely Kieffer's fault, but he did get the ball rolling after being egged on by a bunch of others. He was clearly remorseful, but it still happened. No offense to Kieffer, but with his current detatchment from the forums and his overall antagonistic attitude, I really wouldn't put it past him to go in there and say something douche baggish. Given, that's far from starting a flame war, but all it takes is one offended WCTer to look at his post history, think "Hey, this guy's kind of a cock" and then follow his post trail back here whereupon it escalates into the same garbage that killed the Sandbox. I'm also not saying or implying Kieffer's the only person who would do this. On the wrong day, I could picture myself doing something like that.
I actually like Kieffer and enjoy his posts, but forum-wise: he really earned his antagonist rep. Given, I've heard he's actually a really nice and fun guy in person, but his forum persona is really little more than an antagonist at this point. It seems like one in every ten posts is something productive, whereas the other nine are either him ridiculing someone, exclaiming his superiority or outright just being kind of a cock. I won't say I don't find it funny, as I've never been on the shit end of his abuse and I know it's mostly an act, but you must be able to see how newer folks wouldn't see him as anything but a prick.
