Title: Artcore Clothing
Post by: Johnny C on 08 Jun 2008, 11:34
Okay, so I've received a lot of positive comments about this shirt.

If you are wondering where it came from and how to get one and you have Facebook, please visit this page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Artcore-Clothing/12725469628?ref=ts). I have no idea what the policy is on international orders but I feel like the dudes might shit a brick.

If you're wondering who Louis Riel is, well, here is his Wiki entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Riel), and here is a comic about him by Kate Beaton (http://www.katebeaton.com/):

Oh, and if you like the shirt, and you buy one, wear it and tell your friends how/where you got it.

$33 CAD after tax.

It's American Apparel, if you're wondering.

Good gracious that is a lot of money for a t-shirt. But it is so awesome. I was going to tell you to buy one for me and bring it to Tronno but I will have to think about it some more.

That is an awesome shirt.  I also liked that one with the lion in sunglasses.

Wow. I couldn't read past that. (But it's because I'm tired.) But that comic is pretty hilarious, too.

I'm kind of concerned they don't have a website. Hopefully, that's fixed soon.

It's true.

They are extremely limited run, though, and not the most expensive ones on the Internet (http://www.johnnycupcakes.com/browse/).

$36 for an effing t-shirt? I'll pass and make my own, thanks.

But I do like your Riel shirt.

Anyone complaining about $30-$40 for a t-shirt should not come to the UK.

When looking at the cost, think about it this way:

Abercrombie & Fitch charge $40 for a t-shirt they will sell twenty thousand of.
These people are selling t-shirts in runs of fifty.

While that may be true, it still wouldn't get me to but either shirts. When I can make my own shirts for less than $5 each. And if I wanted I'd sell them for no more than $10. But I've been known to just give away my designs. I like others wearing them anyway.
