So it's probably been done before, but it's always fun to do! Take a picture from a while ago (doesn't really matter how long I guess, a couple years) and take a picture from you now and viola! Comparison between you then and now

It's a great shirt. I am the husband of a (retired) librarian and the father of a (non-retired) librarian, so it fits well. I also bought one for my son-in-law, who is married to the (non-retired) librarian, and he likes it, too.
Plus it was a lot of fun to wear when I was doing FOSS library system installations.

Dominic, you probably get this a lot but in the last photo you look uncannily like John Lennon when he had short hair post-Beatles.
I have actually never heard that since i cut my hair. When i was 16, though, with long brown hair and round glasses, well, a certain group of people outright refused to refer to me in any way other than "John". I think that is because the stereotypical image most people have of John Lennon is either that of the early '60s or that of him with very long hair.
Unfortunatly I don't have a picture from that period.

I liked that look, although (and you can't tell from that photo) the facial hair was really terrible. My hair is headed back in that direction, though; maybe I'll bleach it again.

Hey being a filthy socialite is very very hard work! All those hair, nail and waxing appointments are ever so tiresome, not to mention the fact that i actually have to pretend to be interested in those dirty old men so they will buy me more hats, dresses and cocaine.....

I wish I could contribute to this thread, but I guess I tell everyone of how after age five or so, til I was fourteen, I was really not a very pretty looking thing at all. So when I hit fourteen, and puberty, and reaching my current state of "not great but hey it could be worse eh", I burnt (somewhat ritually) all the pictures of me before that point. It was mostly on account of I used to be awfully awfully awfully short. And fat. Those two are not a good combination, and it resulted in me approaching a state of being wider than tall, no lie. And then spotty as well - and sweaty. I was definitely not a cute-looking kid. Or a nice-looking youth. I was actually foul-looking. So, now, instead of seeing the pictures, you are going to have to imagine a nasty-ass-looking Drick waddling through Reading city when younger.
Anyhow, I only have that one baby picture and everyone's seen it a million times.

It may hurt your apparently delicate ego to realize this, but there's very little point in a ten or so image photodump to exhibit a scant three years of your life unless you're Drick and go through more styles in two months than most people do in two decades.

You just didn't need to have so many photos for only three years, is all. The point of the thread was to show how different you looked back whenever, not to post every picture that happened along the way.
Personally, I would've dropped number 2,3,4,6,8 and 10. Probably wouldn't have created such a backlash with half the photos.

I don't know redglasscurls at all. I've never talked to her and didn't side with her on any matter of her internet popularity or some such. I responded because she made a valid observation that a good many of us were probably thinking ourselves. She wasn't particularly rude about it, just a little snarky, which is par for the course on this forum (And pretty much every forum I go to, for that matter). He decided to take it way overboard and call her an unfounded name. It's got nothing to do with who she is, that's just general intolerable disrespect on what is generally a respectful forum. I'm generally held as a huge dick, but I still don't tend to go around calling people a bitch over something so trivial.

Here I am at 15, at a school party. Yes, I had spiked hair. That was thankfully not a regular thing.

2003-ish. I had grown me some hair, and gotten contact lenses. I really miss that hair nowadays, because the sheer weight and thickness of it made it awesome for headbanging, even though it wasn't THAT long.

Then at one point, I had military service. The cutting of hair isn't mandatory in the danish army, but it is still a LOT more practical. I shudder to think how it would have been to wear those helmets with my thick-ass hair.
