Title: Dora's Priorities
Post by: Zingoleb on 31 Aug 2008, 20:24
I swear, that's how my ex-girlfriend would react. Like...spot on.

...dammit, why'd I have to break it off with her.

I doubt it, that would be like bragging about how you can consume oxygen from the air.

As I tell people...  those who brag the most get the least.  Those who try the hardest fail the most.

Me... I can get it when I want.  *shrug*  It's not the defining priority in my life like it is with some people I know.

The oxygen doesn't want to be in you. Stop sexually violating the air! You know full well that those molecules are in tightly-bonded one-on-one relationships.

Those who try the hardest fail the most.

i'm going to go ahead and disagree with this. you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. i think people that don't even try fail the most.

*cough*

Yeah but aside from this post I don't run around bragging about it.  ;)  :p

Quote from: Terry Pratchett
Miss Tick: You could say that this advice is priceless.  Are you listening?
Tiffany: Yes
MT: Good.  Now ... if you trust in yourself...
T: Yes?
MT: ... and believe in your dreams...
T: Yes?
MT: ... and follow your star...
T: Yes?
MT:  ... you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.  Good-bye.

Pratchett is a font of wisdom.

Man, I kissed like two girls last month, I am so rad.

What's the second male fantasy, then?

And I'm not bragging, I just choked on my drink when I read it. Because that's...her. Perfectly. Innocent look and sexuality combined in one.

Whatever the case, the entire thread was completely unnecessary. Come on, "why did I have to break up with her?" This statement alone kinda destroys any possible legitamacy of the thread.

Sorry. It was meant entirely as a self-deprecating joke.

So, reading Dora sort of reminds me of my first girlfriend, except she didn't reform to be an indie girl who also liked metal and was awesome. We broke up because I wanted to play with my legos and my friends some days instead of going over to her mobile home. I was only 13 at the time, but boy could she fuck like an animal. With a mohawk. It was actually pretty hot. But like I said, I needed lego time.

I assume that was meant to be a joke, but seriously. Nobody wants to think about little kids doing shit like that.

When I was thirteen, I thought of doing that shit all the fucking time.

And if you had called me a little kid then, I would have told you to go fist yourself, because I wasn't no little kid -- I was a mouthy teenager, by god!

Well fuck, of course every kid wants to have sexual relations. Nobody wants to hear about it though. It's icky.
Ick.

You know what, fine. I'll accept that. But it sure does shut up your family in the car when you drop that on them. When you just go "yeah, that's cause I've been fucking her everyday. That's why I'm there so much."

I personally believe that children playing with legos is one of the more natural things in the world.  Something is wrong with you.
