Title: Where did xkcd go?
Post by: Shakleton on 16 Oct 2008, 11:56
Just dropping a line!

Did anybody else notice that xkcd (http://www.xkcd.com) disappeared from the recommended reading section a while ago?

What is with that?

Someone already asked this in the Ask Jeph thread, go there to get your answer.

That is all.

Randall recently died in a math accident and they have been using DNA found in the ball pit to clone him every 2 days. The clones are usually found to be nonviable so they are nurtured until they have the capacity to update the comic and then liquidated before apoptosis kicks in, sparing them much pain, confusion and terror, but creating an increasingly large pile of dead Randalls.

Jeph realized this and was disgusted enough to remove the link.

You have the real answer. Do not go to the Ask Jeph thread.

He lies.

Jeph did stuff with the bodies. He was ashamed, so he removed the link to remove his memories. It didn't work.

...died in a math accident...

This is probably my greatest fear.

Math labs explode all the time.

Keep your equations balanced, people.
