hello friends.

i will be in the chicago area for a business trip (ooohhh, i'm almost like a real grown-up!) next month... anyone in the area up for hanging out with me? i am pretty lame in real life (and on the immernets too, i guess), but please hang out with me anyway. i will be lonely. i will be arriving monday, 11/17 and leaving saturday, 11/22, but will probably only be free on monday, wednesday and thursday evenings after 5 or so.

after that i'll be in southeastern michigan until saturday, 11/29... if there is anyone around there that wants to meet up too, let me know.

Well that's poor timing. I'll be in London for that entire period. (actually from the 15th all the way through Thanksgiving.) Otherwise I'd be game.

yes.... i guess those things are true. but really... that hardly qualifies me.

p.s. shane, do not put the idea in everyone's head that if they hang out with me i will buy them records. i do not really have that much monies.

Sure I could meet up.  Getting dinner Wednesday would be easiest for me, since I'm teaching in the loop in Wednesday but on both Monday and Thursday I'll be up in Evanston.

Yelley is a cool person and if you have the opportunity and are not yourself a bad person, you should say hi to her.

I dunno if I can get away from college/afford the gas to drive up to Chi-town but that doesn't mean that other people should not make the effort.

I am off work Monday, so I could drive up there...except that the reason I'm off work is that I'm going to be driving back from Virginia that day. The rest of the days, I will be working. I could do meetups in Michigan on the 23rd or 24th though.
