I generally don't really study or judge someone's artistic merits, but looking at the last panel in 1313 really impresses me. I think Jeph's managed to top another level here (seeing Hanner's face as such).

yeah, by the way you're probably the first person to comment about hanners in a way that doesn't involve HanTai or bitching
