Title: Anyone remember "Skies of Arcadia"?
Post by: NeverQuiteGoth on 17 Jan 2009, 17:17: You know, the RPG that was on Dreamcast and then on Gamecube. I've been looking back at some of my old stuff and it struck me at just how masterfully made Skies of Arcadia really was. Probably the best RPG I've ever played and I've played a lot of good RPGs.

So do you remember that game? Have you played through it? Is it totally awesome they-don't-make-em-like-that-anymore or am I just crazy?

The simplicity of the battle system was a good thing (they should have just made it a little faster-paced), and the plot wasn't THAT cliche, at least, not in context. I mean, the plucky hero defeats evil empire is like the basis for the plot of EVERY RPG EVER; I for one thought Skies did it with a decent level of originality.

And also yes. Fina was hot.

It wasn't explicitly stated, but it was strongly implied.
