I started reading QC and the forums almost two years ago when I discovered that webcomics provide excellent procrastination from PhDs. I thought it was about time to delurk and say hi. Also, I'm bored.

Forums are even better procrastination from a PhD!  It's amazing that I get into the lab at all these days.

Well then this forum will come in handy when I return to uni.

I realised once I had clicked post that I hadn't actually introduced myself but I'm not really sure what people want to know. I'm from Australia. I'm an omnivore. But thankfully my name is not Randy.

I dont like beer or cricket either, but its my dad thats the yank (small world huh?). The fact that Peter Brock is my hero and the VL Calais is pretty uch my dream car are my only real saing graces.
