Holy shit, I thought pentagram had broken up.

Wait... Pentagram is doom, is that a different Pentagram?
Title: Re: Best Metal Archives Name/Genre/Lyrical Themes and Band Pic combinations.
Post by: BeoPuppy on 16 Dec 2009, 03:13
I'd be surprised if there were only two bands with that name around, really.
Title: Re: Best Metal Archives Name/Genre/Lyrical Themes and Band Pic combinations.
Post by: Nodaisho on 16 Dec 2009, 03:21
If one of them has been around since the '70s, you would think that it would be easy enough to find record of them when you are checking to make sure nobody else has it. I can understand if some obscure band that has never actually released anything has the same name, but Pentagram? They were (are, I guess, apparently they got back together in '80 after breaking up and have been together since) some of the founders of doom metal.

That of course is assuming that these people google and they look way too evil to do something as mundane as google-ing.

The lead singer for Grol looks really passionate about his singing. Like Michael Bolton, if he sang about Anus, Pigs, Vomit, Gore, and Faeces.

Man why do metal band members always have long, gross-lookin' hair? Is that part of the requirements of having a metal band?

A Joker and his Gun look hilarious.

Also, Artillary is how the Wrens would have turned out if they were metal.

And why do all rapers look like douchbags with lots of bling-bling?

As we all know, all rapers don't look like that, same goes with the metal bands and their "oh-my-god-so-gross hair".

I guess it was the fact that I wrote "rapers" twice that makes it "funny", enjoy your signature since it's my xmas present to everyone who enjoys some lame typo humor.  :-D

A (very) little part of me knew there was something wrong with that post... I can search for rapers on the internet though, weird.

Er, IT is a midget.

Also only a few dudes in this thread have hair that you could accurately call 'lank'. It totally doesn't count if it's a shot where they're playing a gig.

Hahaha yeah, I was gonna edit my post right now since I remembered a thread in a metal forum about him being 1,53 m or something like that.

Not THAT small though, for me that's not a midget but yeah... Just the mental image of him with black metal outfit, awesome.

This picture of 8th Sin gives a better idea. Note the odd camera angle, and that I'm fairly sure he's standing on a box:

I never checked out Abruptum until a couple of months ago so I didn't know them too much, just by name.

Hehehe that's some cool name, and that picture is weird, and I thought that Dani was little.

Edit:
This one is well known... But it just have to be in this thread.
