Title: Activated account.
Post by: QED on 08 Jun 2010, 14:57
Hello everybody.

It has been a month since I registered, and of course, I have never received any email with an activation code.
I have kept reading forum, and my desire to be also able to write something has been growing steadily.
I do not remember myself wanting something so much while not being able to obtain it, ever since childhood.

Then suddenly, last friday I found this link http://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php/topic,24381.0.html (http://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php/topic,24381.0.html)
I am happy to announce that the "how to" still works.
Just click to Inlander's homepage, get whois info of the domain, write an email, Inlander forwards to est, and that is it.

Anyway, I work as a theoretical physicist, and my main hobby is chess.
My favourite QC character is Angus. English is not my first language.

What is you first language?
I will not tell. You have to guess and even then I will not confirm anything.
Instead, I will tell you, that "chess as my hobby" includes also correspondence chess and a little bit of chess programming.

No, of course it's C++.

LOL at Dliessmgg.

If stereotypes are anything to go by (and we shouldn't go by them), then a chess player's first language is more likely to be Russian or one pertaining to one of the former Soviet republics.  It could even be where the recent chess championships were held but I can't remember the name of the country.

No, of course it's C++.
Considering programming languages, my evolution was: BASIC => Z80 assembler => Pascal => C => C++.

It could even be where the recent chess championships were held but I can't remember the name of the country.
Latest match was held in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria.

Thank you very much.  My memory isn't the best.

Is that where you're from?

So that's why people keep emailing me about activating their accounts?

Anyway, glad you made it in. Enjoy your time here.

By the way just so that you can all avoid the rigmarole of trying to find out my email address, it's harry_up_north(at)yahoo-dot-com-dot-au (translate that into a proper email address format if you're not a spambot).
