There's been a list of concerts he's been too, there have been any number of conversations *about* bands, but is there anything about which ones he likes or dislikes?

I remember reading that his favorite bands were Broken Social Scene and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.  His main musical taste back when the comic was mainly about music jokes was indie rock, specifically stuff Jeph loved I think.  So Band of Horses is probably also one of his favorites.

there's this (http://yellingaboutmusic.blogspot.com/) blogspot that Jeph made when Marten in the comic talked about starting a blog.  It's got very few posts, but there's music mentions

There was a real SCRA (see The Ship Album (http://recordrelics.ecrater.com/p/1257467/southern-contemporary-rock-assembly-scra)), but Jeph wasn't referencing it.
