So the band Pavement is playing Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Sept. 25, and there is a contest with the grand prize being the chance to play on-stage with the band during their appearance (http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/submit-a-video/index2.shtml).

Frankly, the only real reason I want to do something like this (other than Pavement! and the chance to wear a SKWM hoodie on national television) is for retribution after not being picked as an Oscar Meyer Weiner kid in my youth. Regardless of all of that, should I do it? Do YOU want to do it?

(Yes, that nation was Albania but regardless of that fact)

Online voting?  Well, we could just go with one of us and pimp them out to the rest of the internet.  Makes me wish I had some good video recording equipment.  (and my pedal board on loan back) (and better guitar skills) (ect)

Well, I'm gonna be doing this before the deadline, for damn sure. My lady is gonna help me, her roomie's got an iMac with iSight and such, and a friend of mine is gonna let me borrow her recording interface so I can use a proper mic for it.

I don't know for sure that it will. I tried upping the same video to YouTube that I upped to the contest and it fucked up horribly. It's appearing on YouTube as 3 seconds of me reciting Alan Shepard's prayer before his Mercury launch ("Dear Lord, please don't let me fuck up") and all the frames zipping by quicker than fuck.

I am worried.
