I just recently discovered QC. I only started reading it about a week or two ago but I am completely hooked. In that time I have caught up, as in read all 1800 comic in about a weeks time. The whole forum thing is new to me too, never really been a part of one before but i felt like I wanted to be a part of the discussions of QC since i like the comic so much.
