elizabeth edwards passed yesterday. she is one of my heroes and is so worthy of admiration; she was intelligent, strong, kind and beautiful. her farewell:

vis a vis her scumbag husband, she really got a raw deal. she should've been the one to run for president, I think... anyways, best wishes for her young children. this is heartbreaking.

Her husband used to be a contender for the presidency. She got cancer, and he cheated on her and had a secret baby.

He's human. His wife was terminally ill and he was probably highly emotional and under a lot of stress.
Infidelity is more complicated than "Oh man, what a dick."
She WAS a nice lady, and he screwed up bigtime, but I feel kind of sympathetic toward him too.

I mean I guess, but I think cheating under normal circumstances is pretty much one of the dickest and most immature choices you can make. This just seems worse, I guess.

That child she is holding is a very generic looking child.
Also it should totally be walking at this age or in a stroller so the poor mother doesn't have to look like she's hefting a sack of bowling balls.
