Is it safe?

Been reading QC for a few years now. Was sitting around listening to Deathmøle and I decided this might be a fun forum to read.

I just haven't posted since *checks* 2006. Either that or the post counts got reset at some point. Or maybe it was really unsafe until today. That's my guess. Thanks for the welcome.

I know a lot of old unused accounts got deleted at some point, but I don't think post counts were reset for accounts that were otherwise untouched.  Sorry, I didn't think to check your registration date - you pre-date me by a couple of years on that basis!

Your location suggests to me that you are a mathematician, or at least in a field that uses maths heavily.  You may have noticed that this is not uncommon around here these days.

Actually, I think it's a bit simpler than that.  Very few of the boards go back beyond 2007.  I don't think irb's post count reset, I think it was the victim of the sloughing of old threads from the board.  Since he hasn't posted since 2006, and the threads he posted in back then are now gone, he had no posts! 

Soooo...... welcome back, irb.  I'd say you were missed, but I'm a newbie by comparison and wouldn't know!

I have discovered (when killing spam, originally) that your post count does not decrease if some of your posts are deleted.
