Google Maps is now available for iOS6 (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-maps/id585027354?mt=8) on the iPhone;  This is a good thing, and will help Australians to not get lost in the bush (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2012/dec/10/apple-maps-life-threatening-australian-police).
