Hello QC forum.

Urbonov here, 26, Canadian, been reading the comic since my first year of university back in 2004. The comic is, by virtue of how much time I've just sat around enjoying the archives over and over again, probably my favourite on the web. I have until now though, never posted on the forums or anything like that.

I am not sure what has prompted me to now try and join the online community, but I made it one of my new Years resolutions, so here I am.

This whole thing got a little more introspective than I planned. Random fact segue: I like penguins!

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say by way of introduction. Hello, Bonjour, En Taru Adun.

Does your avatar have upside-down eyes? Oh, and I'd advise you to hide any lug wrenches that you have about you.

Hm, I think it was the glasses, which I have removed. Wasn't the best choice for a small avatar image I guess.

And I don't think I own any lug wrenches actually. Another new year's resolution then.

Don't bother with the lug wrench.  As soon as you get one, it'll be melted. 

Some of the forumites have bad habits.

You'll find the free coffee machine next to the dartboard, and if you give us another thirty minutes or so, Kugai will be around after changing your motor oil, with what he thinks is a lug wrench. It's really a Paper Jamz guitar, but don't tell him that. He's still got that child-like innocence...or that's what it smells like, anyway.  :psyduck:

No, thermite is less edible - you were thinking of Marmite (the original of which Vegemite is an imitation).

Yeah, thermite might be edible to you, but only if you live in a volcano. IN a volcano.
