Been reading QC since last year, but I just now joined the forums.. it kept me amused while in Afghanistan, and I've kept reading it.
Pretty much caught up, but I did just go through the past few days and re-read the entirety, but I'll do it again. This is one of the few comics I not only keep up on, but enjoy reading over and over.
A little background on me: I'm Nick, I'm 23, and currently, I live in Germany.. and will for the next two years. You can feel free to ask anything 'bout me, but keep in mind I'm not very open.
I'll be 'round the forum. Maybe not a whole hell of a lot, but I'll be around. Like that poltergeist that keeps moving stuff around on your kitchen counter...

Are you the one that keeps eating all my socks as well? :D

Hmmm... You're in Germany, so that was a metric lugwrench?
We'll have your new one delivered by DHL ASAP.
Keep it away from Kugai.
Oh, and welcome! Hope the new deployment works out well...

No, no, that's Louis. He usually likes to eat one at a time though. Drives people nuts, that one sock vanishing... from the drawer, not the washer/dryer.
.. I had a lug wrench? O_o Well, no missing what I didn't know whas there. O_O

Tell Louis he owes me two pairs of blue socks, size 13, and a burrito for my troubles.
Also, welcome.

I'll pass the information along, but he might steal some of mine in retaliation. One day he's gonna choke on a tube sock though. XD

Especially if it's one of my dirty ones...

How do you know the trap wasn't part of my plan? *evil cackle*
In other news: Germany is working out well so far I guess. Haven't been off base yet. That's about to change shortly. :D
Thanks for the well wishes, and by the way...

Smithers, release the Wargs!

Smithers, release the Wargs!
While I'd hate to deprive the Wargs of a meal... I only carry Odin's symbol, and am not him. So Fenrir, Sköll and Hati will have to wait.

[MontyBurnsVoice] Eeeekselent. My plan is working perfectly *Muhuwahahahahaha [/MontyBurnsVoice]

I'm sure a series of randomized events don't count as a plan...
.. unless your plan is to commit series of randomized events so as to remain unpredictable.
To quote Hannelore's comment to the Tapir...
"I'm onto you".

*Prepares all forms of mass destruction as retaliatory strikes*
You don't want to know what's fully in store. It could be more devastating than you ever imagined.

Planetary obliteration?
-
Worse: Rosie O'Donnell.
-
I shall allow speculation, for only a fool reveals his plans.
In other news.
Any random questions? I'm not an open book, but if it's a genuine question, I have no issues answering it. Figured you might wanna know a lil more 'bout me is all.

Where are you originally from? Anyplace in particular you call home, or whose cuisine you find comfortable?

Originally, I'm from New York - born in Queens. I grew up in North Carolina, sadly enough. My family lives there, so it's home, I suppose, but I enjoyed California a lot more. Realistically, I'm too much of a wanderer to call anywhere home for long, especially with being military.
I'm pretty much good with all kinds of food, but... Japan has a wonderful chain of curry restaurants, called "CoCo Ichibanya" - of which there are some now open in the states. Stateside isn't the same, but it's still delicious, haha.
