Title: you've adopted another one

Hey everybody. My name is Scruff Cardinale. I'm from central NJ at the border of Middlesex and Monmouth counties. I'm 30 and stumbled upon the comic a couple years ago. When things are dead at work and I can't think of anything in particular to do on the internet I'll end up reading the wikipedia entries about whatever artist is currently playing on my ipod. One time Cat Power was on and the one for her said she'd been mentioned in a strip, so I decided to check it out from the beginning and have been a devoted follower since. Every morning when I first arrive at my desk I immediately read the day's new strip before attending to any other work. I wear Hawaiian shirts almost exclusively all year round, but whenever the weather is cold enough to require something a bit more substantial I'm all about my bear monster hoodie. I relate to and root for pretty much all the characters in some way or another, but feel like my wife's best friend is pretty similar to Marigold, so I'm particularly fond of any stories she's involved in. I look forward to nerding out about the finer points of the comic, the minutia of pop culture and life in general with all of you.

Welcome! I came to the comic late in life, so I often referred to the Urban Dictionary. Still do, with forum references. Oh yeah, hold on to your lug wrench, with fireproof gloves.

Also; I see someone managed to warn you about Kugai melting the lug wrenches.. maybe that's why he hasn't gotten yours yet! haha.

Move along, move along.  This is not the lug wrench you are looking for. 

The ceramic lug wrenches are over there, behind that spaceship, the Millennium Falcon.
