I would, if I had an Android phone. This is the first skin that has me genuinely interested in the Android platform. I'm a bit put off thought that Zuckberg keeps mentioning that ads will be present on your homescreen - don't know if I can agree to that, but only time will tell how intrusive those ads will be.

Don't do it.

You can't see ANY of your notifications, except Facebook ones, until you go into an app that shows the status bar.

Get a text? You'll never know.
Same goes for email, twitter, app updates, and anything else that'll show up in your notification bar.

It requires system level access to display non-Facebook notifications, This means either you buy an HTC First, or are fine with rooting your phone. And I'll be honest, I haven't even verified that that works.

(note: This is all third party info. I have no desire to ever touch Facebook, even with a Regulation 10-Foot Pole, but I know some people who were interested enough to dig into Home )

where did you get your information from? I'm genuinely curious.
Because I can't in the name of what's right imagine that non-Facebook notifications shouldn't work. This is basically an API call that's so essential to how Android works that it'd be moronic for Facebook to ignore it.

edit: Oh jesus, now I've found sources as well, and that's just a bullshit move on facebook's part.

I installed it, looked at it for a minute or two, then uninstalled it.
