Title: Dark Souls II

So I'm ridiculously excited about Dark Souls II. They'made it off of a PC build rather than porting it from consoles, no GFWL this time around and they seem to have learned a hell of a lot from doing their first PC port with Dark Souls. Not entirely sure which platform I'll be getting it for yet, but it gives me a lot more confidence that the PC version is not going to be phoned in. The article linked also includes the 12 minute gameplay demo, I've embedded here:

I'm so ridiculously excited for this that it's hard to make words.  I'm playing Demon's/Dark Souls a lot in anticipation.

I've started back up Demon's Souls myself. Love the shit out of Dark Souls, but the PC version is kind of a hassle to get working and I just don't feel like doing it when I have Demon's laying around. I think the only thing I really disliked as a change from Demon's Souls to Dark Souls is I much prefer the Nexus hub rather than the busywork of getting to and from each location, pre-warp. The monster design for bosses I think was also a bit better in Demon's, but so many other things were improvements in Dark that I can't complain too much about it.

Mage with the intent of using a Pushed Talisman of Beasts. Eventually. I forgot how much of a total bastard Black Phantom Scrivener is.
