Hollywood has not had my respect for a while now.  They have no idea what to do, other than just rehash everything every year, and hope that no one notices ad nauseum (aka MADDENISM).

This doesn't surprise me in the least.

The Terminator goes back in time to WW2 Casablanca to kill Rick Blaine. Yeah, that'll work. I'll get started on the screenplay right away.

I'm a few years too young to care much about Terminator, so not really a large bunch of fucks given. Just another excuse to have CGi robots beat each other up, because that's nice to put in the trailers.

Yeah.

And they're rebooting Robocop too.

I dunno, I'm kind of looking forward to the Robocop reboot.
It was one of those series that really deserved more of a chance than it got.

Which is why I'm kind of against the Terminator reboot. The last Robocop film was what? 1990? And that was an utterly crap affair. Meanwhile, Terminator got Rise of the Machines and Salvation, which were reasonable successful. Robocop does deserve a reboot, it was so shafted, it needs to start anew.

Oh well, maybe one day we'll see a Robocop vs Terminator film.

I'm more irritated by a Terminator reboot because they are keeping Ahnold. I loved his action career, but the man is 65. Let someone else take the role. We have at least two great choices for it in Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel. Also it makes me sad because the money is going into this and not... something new.

I'm a bit more optimistic about the Robocop reboot, or at least it's existence.

Really? Ahnold? Talk about beating a dead horse.

though it would be interesting to see how they do it now. With how technology is now-a-days compared to the 90s when skynet would have taken over.  Hell didnt rise of the machine take place pre-FB and other social media was big?  They could bend it to the machines will now.  Take arnie out and put in someone new.  I havnt seen salvation but isnt there suppose to be a conclusion movie where they take down skynet?
