Title: Throat Microphones. Any good?

Does anyone here have experience with throat microphones? Is the sound-quality, clarity etc. any good?

Why do I ask? Because I ran across this ad for a bluetooth throat-mic/earpiece combo (http://www.samsonelectronic.com/TacticalBlueTooth.html), and I have found my existing mobile-phone headsets rather unsatisfactory for cycling. The ones that rely on just plugging into the outer-ear canal fall out at inconvenient moments. The ones that hook over the ear are not especially comfortable, and clash with riding glasses/goggles etc. The ones with "booms" reaching toward the mouth clash with helmet-straps. Finally, all suffer from wind noise.
