Title: An introduction thread for nooooobz?

I think we had something similar a while ago (maybe even started by me) but I was wondering if us forum old hands could do eith a stickied thread somewhere where we and the mods all introduce ourselves so that newbies can get a feel for the forum before (or indeed after) they join up. Good idea? Bad idea?

I like it. Personally I'm always curious what the people who already are on a forum i just joined are like, and it's very tiresome to gather that from normal posts.
Although I have probably not been here long enough to be considered an oldie, I'd sign up, if that's wanted.

It was called something like "Re-introductions" or "The reintroduction thread"

Let's just rez the older one, it's still mostly relevant! And everybody can post in it if they want to. Because sometimes I, and quite possibly, forget who is who.  :oops: :-D

I still think someone should make a QC history file with major players and events laid out in pretty colours and texts. And pie charts.

At least five years; it was gone when I joined, but I saw it when lurking.  Very little of it was captured by the wayback machine, sadly.
