Hi All,

I am new here even though I have read through the QC archives about 3 times and lurked here on and off (admittedly mostly off) for a few years and I have finally decided to jump into actually being a member.

I'm from Australia and currently am lucky enough to not be on fire, though leaving town could be hard depending on the wind direction and strength.

Unfortunately in my case the user name is one I have been using for ~15 years. From memory was actually an acronym, but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was.

I still use it so that people who run into me at multiple points online can recognise me. This has happened a few times.

While I'm not a huge fan of the compulsory "you must use your real name to do anything on the internet" movement, I do like to minimise my identities.
