I have a, 11" MacBook Air I don't have a use for anymore. I might reformat it, put every QC strip on it in a folder, and put it up on eBay.
Until you come across some of his personal... stash. Things that should never ever be PONDERED let alone discussed. Things that make the worst deprived fan-speculation and shipping seem tame.Where do you think Pintsize's Twitter account gets its links from? :psyduck:
And of course the super-secret file that contains the REAL ending to the series.
The period shows her tone, that she's not asking it like a question.
Dawwww
More Dora/Tai cuteness.
Dora certainly is showing a more mature attitude here as is, surprisingly, Tai. Definitely a fair bit of character growth and change for these two here.
He went and did it. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-Macbook-Air-11-plus-a-whole-bunch-of-QC-goodies-/331073156834) It's at $660 as I type this.
EDIT: The strips come on a USB stick at PNG web resolution.
The last panel is definitely SQUEE-worthy.It is!
Hallmark needs to release some cards based on today's strip. Followed by a made-for-tv movie.I second that.
On a side note, I am disappointed by the positive character development.
I feel kinda like Marvin the Martian.
"Where's the ka-boom? There was supposed to be a giant, earth shattering kaboom!"
Yes, it could, but it will probably be with someone else. (I'm thinkin' Mari/Dale)

Still have two days -- something could go horribly wrong yet.
And with it...Christmas music .
And with it...Christmas music .
This has already happened.
And with it...Christmas music .There's some seasonal music that I don't mind too much: http://www.cthulhulives.org/store/storeDetailPages/AAAS.html

"Where's the ka-boom? There was supposed to be a giant, earth shattering kaboom!"
There's always a boom tomorrow.
... what Halloween music?Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon
Ivanova is God.Should have got her for Dogma.
No, I'm actually glad. And I'm also glad by "censor" he meant strategically placed speech bubble.
I just bid fifty trillion dollars.
This is Zimbabwean dollars, right?
Whelp, that was anti-climatic.Or not!
"Where's the ka-boom? There was supposed to be a giant, earth shattering kaboom!"Dora might know something about one of those...
... what Halloween music?Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon
Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Bloodletting (The Vampire Song) - Concrete Blonde
Surely there are others, but those are the three that come to mind.
... what Halloween music?This maybe?:
Is anyone else kinda expecting this arc to end with:
Marten: So, um, is Tai a better kisser than I was?
Dora: NO COMMENT!
I was picturing Dora exasperated and Marten looking sheepish like he knew he shouldn't ask but couldn't help it, but your way might work even better. :-DIs anyone else kinda expecting this arc to end with:
Marten: So, um, is Tai a better kisser than I was?
Dora: NO COMMENT!
Is that with or without her blushing and a smile on his face showing he is teasing her?
So, uhm, is there some academic pun I'm missing in the strip? I thought "A-game" simply meant "the best".
Also, aww.
It's fortunate that Jeph can make the modesty bubbles and modesty cats funny.
And here I thought that modesty beers (and straws) were generally an Evangelion thing. It's fortunate that Jeph can make the modesty bubbles and modesty cats funny.
I still prefer modesty beers (http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=519) over modesty cats and bubbles especially when they come with threats associated with them :-o
Tomorrow's comic: Every single character turns their head towards Dora's apartment and says:
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!
... what Halloween music?Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon
Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Bloodletting (The Vampire Song) - Concrete Blonde
Surely there are others, but those are the three that come to mind.
pretty sure it Dora meant to say "Was that your a-game?"
or perhaps her tongue hurts so much she's lisping.
(even though then it would probably be "Wath")
either way, I think we can safely assume that Tai and Dora has banged now.
I'd be perfectly happy with the two of them walking in wherever they were going, clearing their throats and doing a simultaneous Booty Dance andnothing else happening during the strip lolYes! I don't think we've ever seen Dora and Tai dancing together, much less booty-dancing, and I know it'd be hilarious in a cute way... Remembering Dora's very lady-like booty dance re:Marty, and then considering that Tai's used to dancing to techno at wild college parties, I so wanna see it.

four or five othersWhere's that from?
Specials: You are very specialI love this.
Yeah, I don't know that either. The only thing I remember is the series alluded to some girl he came across the continent to follow, and then stayed in MA after they broke up. But it was all prologue.four or five othersWhere's that from?
The Vicki story starts here. (http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=252)Yep. I had totally forgotten that segment. Of course, I read a lot of the series at 2 am during a divorce, but still....
I don't know if he slept with Vicky,

Beats constant replaying of Monster Mash and Thriller...
Hannelore plainly believes in the shortest distance between two points...
Hannelore plainly believes in the shortest distance between two points...
She isn't subtle with Marigold, she already believes she should have a reasonable number of babies (http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2139)
So if a father is a male figure who has a significant influence in you becoming who you are today, I as a single human being have had many fathers indeed.
I don't know if he slept with Vicky,
Almost certainly (http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=254).
Is Hannelore being remarkably clueless or remarkably socially skilled? It's not something a middle-of-the-pack person would have done.
So if a father is a male figure who has a significant influence in you becoming who you are today, I as a single human being have had many fathers indeed.
That would make my grandfather my father and my actual father...not much really.
Not necessarily an unreasonable number of fathers - one per baby is perfectly reasonable. But if you want more, I'm sure they're working on that technology (http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2240).
Is Hannelore being remarkably clueless or remarkably socially skilled? It's not something a middle-of-the-pack person would have done.Honestly, I would do the exact same thing. No clue what that says about me.
Wait! What! The turkeys are shipping?
I wonder if Blood Lord is related to Frog Lord (http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2026)...
Tai/Dora --> Tora --> Tiger in Japanese --> ?Your point ?
Wait! What! The turkeys are shipping?
One of them is, but only through fanfic.
So if I ship in a fanfic, then link it here, it's not shipping?Depends on whether you do want to incur the Wrath of the Mods.
loophole engaged
Because Jeph couldn't think of a decent portmanteau? Really now; "clarten?" "maire?" What.It just doesn't roll off the tongue as nice as most of the others :(
Tora is what jews call the bible, too
Claireed? Last names are an option, you know. (Still, it sucks. Then again, shipmanteaus usually do. And, this one wasn't in the comic, so I'll stop now.)Because Jeph couldn't think of a decent portmanteau? Really now; "clarten?" "maire?" I guess Jeph didn't realize yet that he uploaded the same strip twice (as 2586 and 2587) :meh: I really wanna see the "smile" in 2586.
Got wood?Yes, for some sheep (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_5KZSAX9FM). And a brick to throw at Pintsize.
Claireed? Last names are an option, you know.
I prefer Daira, myself. (Dye+ra)
So if Dale's hopes are not realized, and he continues to be single, it is just a Ship'nDale? And Skewbrow just won the thread !
Looks like genetic engineering has invented Sapient Pearwood...Great… An AntroPC that looks (and might think) too much like the series that Pintsize belongs to combined with the tenacity and homicidal urges of The Luggage. The QC 'verse is doomed.
Looks like genetic engineering has invented Sapient Pearwood...Unlike the Luggage, though, I think the destruction of the lab(s) will not let it live long enough to actually have an owner. Especially if the desire to overclock themselves is that... intense.
Creepiest AnthroPC related strip since THUMBLORDDisagree, creepiest AnthroPC strip EVER! that creepy smile (shudder). Thumblord! was frakkkin' hilarious.
The way I understand it, poor thing is so miserable it wants to self-immolate. Is that correct?
But seriously - who in their right minds would put a sentient computer inside a container of wood?
No. No, it isn't. And...don't you mean Miss Morgendorfer?
People and attitudes can change. Hannelore's more than some.
It goes beyond "a bit confrontational" when you try to disembowel yourself when you find out your mother is coming to visit. Strip 910. Her father was neglectful.
I wood consider it ^.^ People might just want to branch out!
But seriously - who in their right minds would put a sentient computer inside a container of wood?
That pun was so bad that I can't think of another wood pun.
But seriously - who in their right minds would put a sentient computer inside a container of wood?
Time to root out the puns before they sap the vitality of this branch of the forum."Root" was used already. Frankly, I was just waiting for some mod to tell us all to put a cork in it.
Purely as a matter of interest, as the term was common in my childhood but seems to have fallen out of use - did anyone pick up on "deal"?I didn't until you drew my attention to it. I have heard of deal as a wood but it's not a word I've heard in current usage.
No wooden nickels in the pun jar, please.Yeah, let's leaf them outside.
Pint'o'Blood, surely.

I've said it before, but: I'm all in favour of Maire. The way I pronounce it ends up as more or less "mær".. as in "Maiden".
Not in origin; "mare" (English) is from "*marhijō", a feminine form of "*marhaz", horse (possibly of Celtic origin), while "mær" (Icelandic and Old Norse) is from "*mawī", a feminine form of "*maguz", boy (of PIE origin).Because Jeph couldn't think of a decent portmanteau? Serious question, does this have any connection to "mare"?
