Title: Deathmole Kickstarter
Post by: celticgeek on 22 Jan 2014, 16:22
I just received my digital download of the Deathmole kickstarter album.  Good stuff.

Just about done listening to it right now. Good ambient background stuff. Enough of a variance between hard and mellow-ish that you don't get turned off by sounds.

Jeph: y'all did a great job on this one!

Gutted that I missed out on this, any idea when the album will go up for general release?

I too am super bummed that the kickstarter happened right as I got a big fat bill from my school :/ I hope the general release is soon because I've been listening to a bunch of Jeph's stuff lately. AGACF is still amazing to me.

Permanence is, if I recall, available (as was originally recorded by Jeph) on Soundcloud or whatever media it was that he used to release DM music.

It will be interesting to compare (I just haven't had time to download it yet).

I'm listening to the Bandcamp version of Permanence right now and I like it. Do any of you know whether this is already the studio recording? And whether there will be an actual physical album to buy for everyone at some point? (On CD I mean, the vinyl edition which was, I think, mentioned on the kickstarter as a stretch goal, would not help me much. Also, I didn't participate in the Kickstarter.)
I would like to buy the album, but I'd prefer to get something "tangible" instead of just a download.
