Not a new game, but does anyone play Elona (http://homepage3.nifty.com/rfish/index_e.html) or Elona+ (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kmv7mo349ehd7l1/1HKVFYzJ0p/elonaplus)? It's a Rogue-like RPG, and it's been eating my time voraciously for the past month XD
Honestly, while some parts a bit of a grind (I think I'm only at part 3 of the first main quest after 160+ hours), it's not the type that really seems tedious. And the way things can happen seemingly at random (including tons of early deaths) always keeps it interesting.
