So....it turns out I know very little of how television service works.
I don't have any.
Do you think I could...that I could just buy Wrestlemania? Like go to AT&T or Comcast or someone and be like "listen I want it for this *ONE THING*, what can we work out?"
-
You are in the US, right?
-
You could subscribe to the network for one month and then cancel it after Mania. But Mania is the first show they're running on it so that might be risky business, given that it's their biggest show of the year. I'm not sure I trust their servers to hold out.
-
You actually can't, a six month commitment is required. However you can just buy it for $10, which I was a little annoyed since I found that out after subscribing for six months but I'll probably watch some old PPVs to make it worth it.
-
I'm surprised that in this day and age they wouldn't do an online subscription service rather than relying only on PPV.
-
It's been rumoured for years and taken them this long to do it. They used to have online streaming of the PPV in the US for a while, and even over here, but that stopped, I suspect so that they could eventually build interest for the network.

They do have an online subscription service, that's what the WWE Network is.
-
Ah, okay. Then that would seem to be the solution to de_la_Nae's question, right?
-
Not if she only wants to watch the one thing, once, given the minimum six month subscription.
-
Oh. Okay, I think I see where I got confused. I thought Method of Madness was saying that the cable company would require a six-month subscription (which I think most usually do).
-
Yeah, but I saw an option for only buying Wrestlemania for $10.
-
Go to a bar where they're gonna be showing Wrestlemania?
-
Thanks folks.
And hell no; the point was to host a RASSLIN' party.
