So, this is a plea for assistance and I hope that more knowledgeable forum members won't mind us not so gifted making use of their skills and memories.
Jeph's strip titles can be difficult to interpret; they're often pop culture references with little direct reference to the content of the strip. Because of that, it can be difficult to figure out where certain instances occur. This thread is a serious research tool (primarily to use in conjunction with writing posts or entries for the Wiki) rather than for the sating of idle curiosity. Put requests here to find the strip number where certain events occurred.
For starters: I'm updating Claire's article on the Wiki; does anyone remember the strip number where she told Emily that she's never been kissed before?

2571 (http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2571). Wiki is actually a pretty good tool, at least for me. Throw a query on the character, and you'll probably land somewhere around the desired strip. It's worked for me.

I had started to throw together a set of tags for the comics (similar to what Willis has on Dumbing of Age), but I spent a day on it and only got to 800, and never finished it.

You guys do know about jwhouk's "QC strip x strip" document, right? It exists in teh wiki in a condensed form, but the long version is an invaluable resource for locating strips! I download an updated version every year or two.

EDIT: I've updated the links to the Cast List and the Strip-by-Strip archives to my Google Drive copies (both are Word docs, but can be read on Google Docs).

You can use ohnorobot (http://www.ohnorobot.com/index.pl?comic=32) to search through comic transcripts. By the looks of it transcripts have only been done for the first 1747 strips, so slightly limited.
Edit: First 1290 strips rather than 1747...
