... for some of the clothing the cast wears? Seriously, Marten has been wearing the Teh shirt since the very first strip. It must be getting a bit worn by now. And Faye's bearmonster shirt may be a little bit nasty after the latest strip.
-
One of Marten's hoodies already needed to be involuntarily retired.
-
Marten actually has 3 "Teh" shirts, and apparently multiple hoodies, since I'm sure he used a black hoodie after that one died.
-
Angry Bear will never die!
-
Nah, I think that there is a thrift store nearby with thousands of the things. The cast all go there to top up on more of the same clothes on a regular basis!
-
To be fair, at least the cast does change clothes. But it was funny looking at strip one last night and seeing just how long Marten has been wearing that shirt. There have been large changes in art style and plot over the years, but Marten holds on to certain things quite tightly.
-
Which reminds me that we haven't seen The Douchiest Tee Of All Time (tm) since Faye bought it.
-
For good reason. :psyduck:
-
TEH is self-replicating.
-
The amount of action Marten's TEH shirts get and the amount of action he gets are inversely related. We'll be able to tell when he's getting action with Claire when he starts wearing new shirts because he's run out of TEH shirts.
-
A bunch of my clothes are about 10 years old and are just starting to wear down to the point I can't put them on in public anymore. Good shirts can be quite resilient.
-
TEH is self-replicating.
That might explain why Claire has one.
-
And I have two (seriously, I needed to change size).
(Downwards! Why did you think otherwise?)

Because changing size upwards is more common; people tend to gain weight as they age...
-
Speak for yourself! I lost 15 lbs this summer and am really glad I didn't throw out all my old pants... especially when the ones I was wearing started to sag to the point where they could fall off as I walked with no warning.
-
Hence the word "tend"...
-
The next year of Comics will see the invention of a Star Trek like Replicator, so the question is moot.
:-D

I had one shirt that I got in 2004 that, up until last year, still looked brand new despite near constant wear and washing (it was my "not leaving the house today" shirt); the black color never faded and neither did the artwork. But then last year it developed a hole in the front, and it just kind of went from there. I still wear the shirt, but it's definitely an "inside the house only" shirt now :(

You do understand that the shirt's disintegration is a punishment for not following its basic tenet, right?
