I figure if it works for the music for can work for gaming. This doesn't need to be what you're playing currently in the sense the what are you listening to thread is. So...
GBA: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Fire Embelm, Advance Wars 2
PS2: Grand Theft Auto: San Andres. (need to start playing Onimishu 2 as I'm borrowing it) La Puelle (well it's been awhile), Street Fighter II/3 special anniversy collection.
Gamecube: Goldeneye Rogue Agent (rental overdue) Metroid Prime 2, Paper Mario 2
Xbox: Halo 2 (eh it's been awhile, i think i'm around the end of the story mode), Knights of the Old Republic: Sith Wars, Xmen Legends, Fable
Computer: Squat really, i don't own a computer. Play some Diablo 2 and some of the older Doom games (got the 10th anniversty collection, just to put on my moms husbands computer)

Currently on the list:
Half Life 2 - Second time trough (both on hard) and I still enjoy the game. Simply great (cant wait for all the tasty mods)
Warhammer 40 000: Dawn of War - Number one MP for me atm. Not much beats a well played team game with a friend vs other people. Lost many hours of sleep due to this game.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Witihin - Loved the first game and I am now enjoying nr 2. Simple way to waste some extra time.
Random small games like: N, Crimsonland etc.

GBA: Mario & Luigi, still haven't finished it. May pick up the FF1/2 remake.
Cube: Tales of Symphonia, Paper Mario 2 (I like mario games), Pikmin 2, FZero, Ikaruga, SoulCalibur 2, etc.
PS2: GTA: SA (still in the beginning, buying safehouses and getting tags), Katamari Damacy, Guilty Gear XX, SF3:3S/Anniversary, Mega Man anniversary, a bunch of others from time to time...R-Type Final, Virtua FIghter 4, Sly Cooper 2, Ratchet and Clank 2...
PC: Just loaded up Freespace 2 again, trying to get it working properly with the SCP. That game is pure fucking concentrated badass. Tons of emulated arcade games, mostly shooters and puzzle games. I haven't bought a new PC game for a long time. I have a borrowed copy of KOTOR 1 but haven't played it.

Good to see that there are other people playing Burnout 3, Katamari Damacy and MGS3.
I thought it was pretty clever how Metal Gear Solid 3 sort of forces you to play on a regular basiswith the whole "OH NO YOUR FOOD IS ROTTING" thing. Very clever! Also it's a nice change from Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, with its seriousness.
Aside from those, I just rented Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal (tee hee, arse.) and I have to say I've never liked an action platformer so much since...quite possibly since Contra on the NES.

I tend to like strategy games so I'm still playing Europa Universalis 2 and Civ3. I did buy the new Pirates! game but I've quickly become bored of it since you always seem to be doing the exact same things over and over.
Believe it or not I'm not all that into games or comics. QC is about the only comic I read on a regular basis; I guess I'm more interested in work, friends, and music.

bleh i'm banned from video games but i do enjoy computer games. i just got rollercoaster tycoon 3 so i've been trying to figure that one out. it's sooo different from the old one and i'm morally against reading instruction manuals (read: i'm lazy). i'm hoping to get thief and alice soon.

i refuse to play anymore tony hawk games. they're getting to be just like all those EA Sports games that come out every year that really has no new features other than a few new characters. they're fun an all, but i hate sports games for a reason. there's never anything new or innovative.
anyway.
i'm now playing knights of the old republic 2 for xbox. holy fucking addiction. ;_; i find myself up at 4 in the morning saying to myself "just a little bit more"... and i can't help but be a nice guy either. i do every nice thing possible. LightXSideXCore! heh. although I'm sure i'll play it through again after this and be completely dark side. i just don't like being a jedi mutt. i either like to be completely light or completely dark.
oh and i'm also playing this free mmorpg i found online. pristontale. it's alright. although i am getting sick of just pounding these cute little lumps out in the field just so i can earn enough money to actually buy clothes. :p

i keep telling my self the same thing. they tend to add just a little of enough though that i cave. plus it was a christmas present, sort of. my brother is not working so i pretty much paid for the presents he got people.
same here with KOTOR2. actually i've had several nights off from playing it but it's still at the back of my thoughts, gnawing at my brain. i'm going lightside first but may start several charecters to switch back and forth through.

PS2: Final Fantasy X-2, Spider-man 2 (believe me, the game's better than the film). I'll be buying GTA:SA sometime next week.
PC: Diablo 2, Deus Ex, Freelancer, The Sims 2, Civ 3, C&C: REd Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge. I need a more powerful computer before I but the next batch of games I want.
GBA: Pokemon Leaf Green and ruby red, Sonic Advance 2 & 3. I've been looking for medabots for a while now, but can't find it anywhere.

DS: the Metroid: Hunters demo, i guess. haven't bought any games for it yet :) using it to play GBA games, though, as i prefer the brighter screen.
Gamecube: Winder Waker, Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2, will be buying Ikaruga if i can find it.
GBA: FF Tactics, FF Dawn of Souls, Metal Slug 4(?). want to buy Advance Wars 2, i think.
PC: Halflife 2, Rome: Total War, World of Warcraft, Freedom Fighters, Silent Storm
PS2: Tony Hawk's Underground. will be buying GTA: San Andreas & Gran Turismo 4 (when it comes out in February), and might take a look at Katamari Damacy, too.
XBox: Soul Calibur 2. just bought Ninja Gaiden after playing it on Heather's brother' xbox. awesome game. will also be buying Mechassault 1 & 2 and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (hopefully this is available on xbox?). should also go back and start playing KoToR again, see if i can get back into it. i really liked it, but then i took a break & haven't tried taking it back up again.

Halo on PC online; its more satisfying to take it to other people, and on a good day I'm a craftsman with a sniper rifle/pistol combo.
Anarchy Online; a friend got me into it because he wanted someone to group with and I'm hooked.
Lastly, and I'm aware its a crime, but I've been playing the Sims... I think I should really seek counselling, but its sooo addictive and bizzarely interesting...

I don't much care for Anarchy Online. It's too confusing. I enjoy my PristonTale. Although I have yet to complete a single quest, I am a lvl 9 I believe. Whereas I completed multiple quests in AO and I don't think I leveled up... ever. Or maybe I did. I dunno. I don't really care because I just didn't enjoy AO very much.
And to whomever commented on Spiderman 2 for PS2 earlier.. yes. That game is awesome. Granted it's a rather quick play unless you do all the extra side stuff... in which case I don't see myself ever finishing it. Hundreds of Skyscraper tokens, and secret tokens and buoy tokens and hint markers and just holy fucking shit wow lots of stuff to find in such a big city.

Metroid Prime 2. I've also picket up my old copy of Red Faction 2 and gotten into the multiplayer. It's a good way to improve one's aim. If only Prime 2 had Faction 2's control setup, you wouldn't need the lock on. Ever.
For the DS, I'm playing Super Mario 64 DS. I know a lot of ouy hate it, but 3D platforming on a handhelds is sweet.

Right now CS:S has struck me, hard. Played it quite a lot with some friends online (that way I can avoid the noob squad) and I think that is what I will do for some time forward.
I even got my dad, who is an old CS freak (CS 1.6, CS:CZ), to get HL2 only for CS:S and he will join in with me during the games as soon as we are able to play again.

Like a lot of nintendo titles it has it's pluses and minuses. The story is cute, being a mario game and all, as always nintendo whores to cameo appearances. The battles are simple to grasp. The missions and puzzles are all simple. Travelling around the overhead map is a pain in the ass though.

I'm currently playing the first Thief game. I've had it forever, but haven't spent any serious time on it until now. It's quite engrossing, and takes a lot of strategy.
I also have a game of GTA: San Andreas that I haven't played since before Christmas. I sort of lost my motivation - GTA games are fun up to a point, then they just kind of get monotonous.

Woo I just got a Nintendo DS today for my birthday, and I bought Zelda: the Minish Cap to go along with it (I never had a GBA). I'm going to get Mario 64 DS soon, but right now Zelda is totally rad. This is the first new video game system I've gotten since my Nintendo 64. Before that, I had an Atari Lynx. Let's hope my luck with choosing the systems that actually get games has improved...

Well, I was playing a lot of Simcity 3000, but I suddenly got extremely frustrated at the wildly fickle people moving in and out of my city for no reason at all.
So now I'm playing Thief: The Dark Project, but I've played it so many times I'm not sure I'll be able to enjoy it. I'm thinking of giving Planescape: Torment a whirl, but I think school is going to make all game playing unwise.

Also enjoying Vampire: Bloodlines. Agree on the buginess, which is a shame because they do so darn many things right on this title, and then it hurks and pauses and I feel like I have an old 486.
NES and SNES ROMs on a modded Xbox are the best way to get your nostalgia trip if you ask me. Ah Bionic Commando. I think I'm one of a small number of people who thought that was one of the best NES games ever.

I've been horribly addicted to Unreal Tournament. The original one, even though it's working on, what, six years old now?
I still play Super Smash Bros (can't stand the new one), Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time (greatest game of all time as far as I'm concerned), and Battle Tanks.
On Xbox I'm playing a lot of Burnout 3 : Takedown and a bit of Halo 2 when I'm entertaining guests.

Fallout 3 not happening? I thought Bethesda took the reigns, right? Besides, Tim Cain and crew are making their own brand new post-apocalypse crpg now, which will probably end up better anyways.
Now I am playing Medieval: Total War, rampaging my unstoppable Muslim armies across Europe. Crusading assholes deserve it.

Resident Evil 4 for the third time through, and probably a fouth. I'm determined to get the exlusive for all the weapons in my inventory (done), I've got the chicago typewriter and I'm saving for the infinite launcher. Only thing is, I suck at "The Mercenaries" so no handcannon for me.

Needless to say, I play UT a lot.
Although, there hasn't been a single problem since they upgraded the server hardware. Hopefully Blizzard finally fixed it for good. Now they just need to get Battlegrounds fast before they lose all the 60s due to boredom.

I bought Astro Boy on PS2 for $10. I finished with it in 3 days. I am deciding whether I want to finish LoZ: Wind Waker or scrounge up a few bucks so I can go rent one of the many games I need to play (God of War, Tekken 5, PoP: Warrior Within, Lego Star Wars, DBZ Sagas, Resident Evil 4, etc).

Right now, I'm not playing much of anything. I'm midway through Xenosaga Volume One and Star Ocean Till the End of Time (and yes, it does bug me that a professionally-produced product used "Till" when they should have used "'Til" - I work as a copy editor for a college paper, so I get a bit pedantic when it comes to professional products), but I've put them aside for now. I go through a bit of a cycle with games - I'm an RPG nut (both pen and paper stuff like AD&D and console/computer RPGs [but not MMORPGs]), so I'll devote hours at a time to a game and then put it away for something on the order of three to four months. Besides, I'm a comp sci undergrad who's struggling to get an online novel off the ground. Between writing code, writing chapters, reading, reading comics, forums, working at The Stony Brook Press, eating and occasionally sleeping, I rarely have time to game. Pity.

I'd say rental. Really put yourself into it for a few days, finish it and that's it. I didn't think it had very much replay value, but playing through it is awesome fun.

A few days ago, I dug up the disk set for my ancient copy of X-Wing. Personally, I think that's the best Star Wars game ever, so I just had to load it up again. Of course, I had to install it through another comp on our network because this one dosen't have a floppy disk drive, and I get no sound, and the joystick isn't compatable, but it still rocks.
Does it make me hardcore if I willingly use a mouse for a flight sim (and do well at it), or just lame?

Currently Sims 2: University, Madness Interactive, and Torus Troopers. TT is a slightly odd, but quite fun, little shooter in whic you pilot a ship very fast inside a tube thing and shoot enemies. Against the clock. Madness Interactive is, like the toons, very violent. And has Jesus in it.

Started playing the original Splinter Cell again earlier but my crappy keyboard with it's tendency to keep logging keys I'm not pressing has forced me to quit... highly irritating when you're trying to do things and Mr. Fisher keeps running forward without you telling him to.

I am REALLY enjoying this game. I've spent about 7 hours on it, total, and it is a lot of fun! Customizing your android is seamless, and there are SO MANY options!
The only two complaints I have;
1) Repitition. Yes, it's a dungeon-crawler, in essence... so repetitive gameplay is expected... but why does every floor look the same?
2) Control. It's a 3D, action-based game... why... WHY is it so damned clunky? 3D games aren't new... why does this game handle like a 1st-generation PS1 title.
I love games that allow me to massively customize my characters, and this game delivers that.
However, it doesn't seem to deliver much more.
So, if you're like me, and you don't mind games that emphasize the 'grind' to get better gear, while experiencing virtually no story, or variety in enemies, then you will enjoy this game. It's not the best game made for the PSP (far from it) but it is still fun.
Graphics: 6/10
Sound: 5/10
Control: 4/10

It works fully as well. Voice overs are there. Only problem is, is that it wants the disk to let you play. I solved that problem by buring all the files onto a disc and inserting it when asked ^_^

I suggest using cracks; Megagames has a large supply (I hated putting disks in for games on my old computer, so I just did the Full Install and cracked 'em.)
Anyhow, my brother bought Spider Man 2 for PS2 yesterday and I forgot how exciting that game is. Now I remember.

Pokemon... i don't know which one.
In an effort to bond with my boyfriend, who is a game addict (As in collects everything, consoles, hand helds, arcade machines, games, merchandise etc) I decided to try and take a more varied interest in games and such (my experience limited to FFXI and GW). So every day we watch an episode of Pokemon (from the very first) and last week he bought me a GameBoy Pokemon game (I have to play on his GB Advanced as the DS is outta bounds =o) )
And I've have developed a morbid fascination for the game. It's like Cock Fighting! Or Dog Fighting.. or any illegal animal death match. battling cute animals to the Death. I love it for all the wrong reasons... but I love it, much to the horror of my friends.
And the Pokemon world is twisted, letting 10 year olds wander around on their own, strangers saying things like "I'm cool, I have a Girl Friend"

I finally found Lego Star Wars for PS2 at a Blockbuster, but it won't load. *tear*

I think my PS2 is finally starting to show its age. I have one of the original models, which I got during that whole "Ohemgee, there's no PS2s anywherez!" phase when it first came out. That was 5 years ago. I think I might have to invest in a PStwo unless I can send my PS2 in to Sony for a replacement or repair or something.

That's a fun game to finish. Getting all the Triforce shards is a pain in the ass though. How many shards do you have right now?
I got up to the final boss of Ocarina (Ganon), then never could beat him. It wasn't a problem of skill, it just took forever, and I didn't play for long enough to finally beat him completely.

Do you have The Ballad of Gales? That helps a lot. I allows you to warp around the map. The game is hella frustrating otherwise.

Got it today. I LOVE this game already.
Still on what is technically the first mission (Geonosis) but I've loved every second thus far.
Fun game. Have you played multiplayer? Most people didn't like it very much (see: reviews) but I really enjoyed it.
I've been playing stuff on my PSP, because some hackers finally cracked the firmware. So I've been playing Kirby's Adventures for NES a lot. That game is actually really fun, even though it's way too easy. I've also been playing the original Doom. It handles surprisingly well on PSP.

I've been working on Morrowind for forever. I bought the GTY edition and then loaded up a boatload of mods, so I'm forever sidetracked from the main storyline. I recently played through a game called Dungeon Lords. If your looking for a kick ass action RPG, keep looking, this isn't it. And I just picked up Battlefield 2 yesterday.

I was clothes shopping the other day (t3h sux) and the manipulative so and so's put a GAME in the corner of the mens section.. because what guy would rather shop for clothes when he can shop for games.. so i ended up grabbing my self a usb controller and a game called "nexus - the jupiter incident" which is a fun RTS space thingy. As it happens the game is full of bugs and the multiplayer mode requires lots of fixing before you can even connect to the master server :( . There are also no servers (sometimes there is one). But the campaign is fun.

I just got God Of War yeterday, and it seems pretty epic, although I haven't had much of a chance to get into it yet.

That game is a lot easier if you did the optional "backup your data" level before confronting the final boss.

I bought Project:snowblind, San Andreas and Luigi's Mansion last week for a combined total of £40.
Luigi's mansions was fun, but way too short and a bit repetitive.
San Andreas was terrible. An extremely flawed game that relies on it's reputation to paper over the MASSIVE cracks within every facet of the game.I didn't even get past the 6th misson before i got sick of it.
Took all three back, and got Tekken 5. It's quite good but the final boss is just taking the piss. My button mashing skillz are no match.

I just picked up my dusty Gran Turismo 4 game this week because I've been missing it too much. I used to play long hours on RPGs, but now I simply don't have the time to get engrossed in a plot.
I used to be quite a reqular in Carnage Blender (http://www.carnageblender.com), an online text based RPG with a great community.
Again, I don't have the time to commit to games. I just play Tetris and Yahtzee on my phone at work all day until I can go home.

been playing EVE Online, but i'm going back to CoH in anticipation of CoV beta. also nearly a lance corporal in Battlefield 2, and still really enjoying that (if anyone thinks they've got SpecOps/chopper gunner chops, come play with me). finished HL2 about two weeks after it came out, but i've gone back to mess about in the game since.
ah, system shock 2. i briefly dated one of the lead art designer gals when i was managing an EB in Providence, RI... in my mind. ^_^ she used to come into my store from time to time. i enjoyed it quite a lot, especially with her art insight (looked through lots of the game with that in mind).
i tend to play more games than i should (still working through the Nippon Ichi stuff on PS2, also just finished Katamari Damacy), but it's something i really enjoy. Beta'd every US-MMO since EQ except for WoW (one beta i really WANTED to get into), and then played most of them for at least a month or so. CoH is still at the top (played it until April, and I'm going back), then WoW, then MxO, with everything else filtering out into the one-two-three month slots. EVE is pretty cool, but it's got no real staying power for me. VERY pretty though.
ah, but i ramble. being back in Hunt Valley has its advantages: i'm hoping Mister Meier invites me to the Civ4 beta.

If you've played any of the Civilization games, you know what to expect. It's pretty much exactly the same, but in space. And with a few other neat options (like being able to control the design of your units to some degree). It's one of those games that, if you enjoy turn based games that can take days to finish, you'll take to pretty readily. Otherwise, stay away.

I'm playing Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime 2 (Guess which console I've got).
Resident Evil 4 is insanely hard. I could only get about 1/3rd of the way through on 'normal' difficulty (kept running out of ammo. (Damn PAL version has much less ammo than NTSC version.)) I finished it on 'easy', got a rocket launcher with infinite ammo, and now having a ball playing through again.
Metroid Prime 2 is just so perfectly executed. It (and its predecessor) are worth buying a gamecube for. Graphics are perfect, and everything just ties in so well with the feel that they're trying to achieve.

dug it out in an "i remember this" moment ... and now the game clocks at 50+ hours and i've done all but defeat emerald weapon and sephiroth. im not sure how bu this time my charaters are all between 10-15 levels higher than when i last played it this far.

I did that a while ago since I didn't have a Playstation when it came out. It was really wierd since I was so used to having first person aiming abilities from playing MGS2 first. Actually I still can't get past Sniper Wolf.
Run to the far right, crouch down and simply shoot Nikita missiles into her face. She can't see or shoot you, and you can take your time since she's unable to spot the missiles too.
Bonus points for her still dying from taking a bullet in the neck despite being blown up though.

I didn't enjoy Guildwars, and I'm still not sure why. Mind you, the same can be said for SWG as well.
Still really enjoying UT2k4, although it appears that World of Warcraft has taken over my life. Besides that not a great deal; I dive into Deus Ex: Invisible War every now and again, but really I'm waiting for D&D Online and Vanguard.

Yup, Fable came out on the 20th for the PC. I played a good deal through the XBOX version, but I moved, and my XBOX never made it's way back out of it's box, and the game was someone else's.
Funny thing about the game, it insulted my computer when I first started it up. It was all like "Oh no you didn't try to run me on THIS piece of crap" and I was all like "Shut up, game, I'm gonna play you anyway."
Ok, it was more of a stylized error message saying that my computer "couldn't handle" the game. But it's doing fine. So suck it, Fable.
FYI, I have a Athalon XP 2600+, 512MB Ram, Radeon 9700Pro.

I just started playing this recently. Word from friends is that you don't need to know dick about the first game to enjoy the sequel. I'm hoping this is true. Covenant is a lot of fun so far (~10 hours in).
Just finished Baten Kaitos a couple months ago. Amazing game. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an RPG (gamecube) with some Chrono Trigger familiarities and a very unique battle system.
Been playing Custom Robo off and on for something like a year and a half. Really fun game, just never dedicate much time to it.
Also, a few Battlefield 2 skirmishes here and there for when I just really need to run down humans in an M1A1 Abrahms.

I started again earlier; My characters were too weak; I had missed out on the best dress spheres (Beserker, Lady Luck, Mascot); Missed Full Throttle; Hardly did any extra missions. Both Katamari games. I finally found a kick who is willing to give up his PS2 for me to play Katamari. I drunk now so I go play it. but PS2 no is hooked up I hope I hook it up right.[/img]

Just finished playing Half-Life 2 for the first time.

In fact, that whole game was just one big "holy shit" moment for me.
highlights:
the start of "Point Insertion" - "Rise and, shine, mis-ter Freeman... rise and... shine....Not, to imply that you have been.. slee-ping on the job. No-one is moredes-erving of a resthan you...." The new voice for the G-Man is just too damn cool.
The smokestack in "Water Hazard" I hear it IS possible to get under it, but I've never managed it...
The whole of "Dark Energy" from start to finish.

For me, there were two stand-out sections:
The very beginning, before you even get any weapons, when you start to realise that it's possible for a game to look better than even your wildest dreams would have dared to imagine;
The fight against the striders in the streets of the city, especially the final fight where bits of the scenery are being blown up around you, and you have to throw out all of your previous gaming experience that tells you that walls are safe to hide behind, because they cannot be destroyed.
Oh, and attacking Nova Prospekt with the antlions.
But even with the best graphics and the best physics imaginable the game wouldn't be worth much if it wasn't really gripping and atmospheric. I actually got emotionally involved in it, especially at the end where the rebels are dying around you and everything's falling to pieces, and that's a first for me with a computer game.

Hells yes. In "Dark Energy" when you're heading down into the reactor, and Alyx presses herself against the glass to watch for as long as possible...
Or that bit in "Red Letter Day" when she kisses her dad on the cheek. There was a moment in "Anticitizen One" when one resistance member is comforting a terrified comrade. That spoke volumes. There was a whole story there.
I seriously had chills at all kinds of moments in that game.

I loved taking down the spiders. This game made War of the worlds that much cooler. It's just one of those games that you have to plaay even if you don't own a PC. I really want to play the expansion. If my brother doesn't get it and come home I WILL FUCKING KILL HIM

I wasn't that impressed. Although I didn't actually finish it, I got bored and distracted. I also think I've forgotten my STEAM password so even though I spent my damn $100 I don't think I'll get to give it another chance.
Best part: Route Canal. Loved that chapter.

I stopped a while into the part after Nova Prospekt. I think there was a bit with a compactor. You run down this bit between a wall and a big metal stompy thing that moves across and kills you pretty thoroughly.
I should probably have written; "Best part that I played: Route Canal".

I have an on again off again play time with Neverwinter Nights and Warcraft 3. Latley though, I have set them aside for the third Ratchet and Clank, Starocean:Till the End of Time, and Legaia 2:Duel Saga.
I hope they come out with a new patch for NWN with the tilesets used in their "Pirates of the sword coast" module soon. I'd like that tileset muy mucho.

I've been playing old games recently (Too poor/cheap to get new ones)... I just reinstalled Homeworld and have been enjoying that... I even went back and played some Theme Hospital for a while...

Baldur's Gate (the original on PS2; so I'm late to the party.) This sort of angled overhead view action RPG is my favorite (Zelda, Ys, etc.)
I whole heartily also recomend Champions of Norath: Call to Arms, Baldur's Gate 2 (kind of a duh, I guess), Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, both X-Men Legends games.
I've mostly been playing X-Men Legends: Rise of Apocolypse and Advanced Wars: Duel Strike. I'm stoked on the fact Half Life 2 comming out soon for my Xbox and still want to check out the Farcry box version as well. Been playing Civilization 3 and Age of Myths: Gold Edition as well. (My computer can't handle much but it was free.)

Joe: If the storyline isn't a big deal I'd almost stay start with the second one. Sometimes the AI of your other team mates was awful in the first game. Of course it could provide some amusement but mostly if your as easily amused as I can be sometimes.

I just played though HL:Blue Shift (hooray for being free on Steam) and HL:OpFor. I'm beginning to appreciate VALVe's meta-storytelling. I wish they'd develop their multi-POV thing a bit more. Then again, there's HL2:Aftermath and Lost Coast coming out soon, so...
Other games recently played include Infiltration for UT classic, America's Army and Raven Shield. I'm really in a shoot-bad-people-with-realistic-guns mood right now.
Beat SS2 recently, gonna play it through again as a PSI guy (and actually use the abilities, not become a tech-marine again like I did this time). People get on that game for graphics. Sure, it's blocky, but as graphic design is concerned it's one of the most brilliant games ever made. Insanely immersive, coherent world.
Need to play Deus Ex again. Hooray for Hotel Carone.
And Bastard Operator From Hell: Servers Under Siege is a kickass game (hooray Underdogs!)

Just picked up the new Fire Emblem: Path of Radience this morning. I only got to play like 3 levels before I had to go to work, but I'm gonna fire it up again after my sister gets off the TV my Gamecube is hooked up to.

I've gone back to SSX3. Nothing beats that zooming down the slope feel. It's a zen experience for me.

Just finished Quake 4 (which rocked), and started on F.E.A.R. I'm up to the chapter entitled "Exeunt Omnes"
Let me tell you this, that game is really fucking freaky. you have to use ladders to get onto them, for a start, and when you do, the camera actually swings around and you see the character's arms and legs at work on the ladder.
While playing yesterday, I came to one ladder I had to climb down, got on it, and as the camera swung around, it showed this freaky, dark-haired little girl standing where I'd just been, she giggled and vanished. So then I slide down the ladder, turn left, and the bad guy you've been hunting the entire time just sort of walks into you and dissolves into a cloud of black flecks.
Genuinely awesome game. Definitely one you should play at night in the dark with headphones on.

I've been playing the shit out of Advance Wars: DS. I love that game. I think it's the first handheld game that I've put in over 40 hours on.
I just got Trace Memory in the mail. I think it's pretty good so far! It's been a while since I bought an real adventure game (I think the last one was the fourth Monkey Island game). I wish they would start existing more frequently.
