So we've had a Facebook chat for more than a year, but recently Masterpiece started a QC chat on slack. If anyone would like to join, PM me your email and mention the chat and I'll send you an invite.

We decided to use slack because 1 not everybody likes Facebook, 2 Slack allows us to stay as anonymous as we like and 3 slack allows us to have the same emoticons we do as the ones here :claireface:

Slack is basically a chat client for workspaces, but we found it serves our purposes pretty well. Think Messenger or Whatsapp with more robust indexing of messages. + a programmable chatbot that reacts to "butts".

Okay... I downloaded the installer, but I don't really have time to mess with it right now, so I'll look into it later.

I love how you said 'we' when it literally was just the two of you. Both chats are pretty much dead but at least the Facebook one is able to be checked easily.

That's not true! Metope is there, too! Also you can use the website without downloading anything if you're on your computer, that's what I do.

Have to think about it. Haven't been in any 'Group Chat' like that since the demise of one of the old forums I was a member of and the Chat sorta died at AMCF a couple of years before she passed on.

One Skype on my desktop is quite enough, thank you. It works well enough, in spite of some issues, and I do actually occasionally use the unlimited archive which slack's free version doesn't include.
