The Godfather of Ghouls has passed away at 77. (http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/la-me-george-romero-20170716-story.html)

Most famous for the Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead, George A Romero brought the concept of the zombie to the modern audience, but Romero used all his films as a way to get across political and sociological messages across, be it consumerism or the class divide or how we hide our darker tendencies behind a mask of civility.

Goodbye to a visionary director.
