IT'S A RHYTHM SHMUP!!!!
It looks great and the music is great!

It's got music by Danimal Cannon, Big Giant Circles, Zef, Noisestorm, pixl, Omnitica, and a bunch more.  It's got online and local co-op.


Just watch the vid and decide if you want to buy it.

photosensitivity warning if you watch the video. i don't know how much of one, but I skipped into some ow, trying to see a bit of gameplay real quick.

I always thought "rhythm" games involved player input needing to be timed to a particular rhythm (as in DDR, Rock Band, Guitar Hero and the like, as well as a couple of mobile games I have on my tablets - Deemo and Cytus). And a "Shmup" should require the player to actually shoot stuff in order to be a proper "shmup."

So, while I understand why the presenter uses those terms, I maintain that this game is neither "rhythm" nor "shmup."

He activates the photo-sensitivity mode in the second episode. I'm not sure how much it would help, though.
