Anytime an AI blushes in this comic I imagine a cooling fan kicking on and it makes the awkward silences much funnier to my brain.And the little cheek blushes are accompanied by the cooling fan running at a lower speed, so they're just accompanied by a low whirr except of a piercing whine.

Okay, for some reason, some posters have decided that Beeptrice's name is a reference to the mythological beast known as the cockatrice, which is similar to the basilisk in its mystical properties and special abilities. The word 'cock' is how some versions of English language refer to roosters (male chickens). It is also a slang term for penis and it appears that some have, for no reason I can grasp myself, have assumed it's a double-entendre and a shipping hint.
