Title: FROZEN II - November 2019
Post by: BenRG on 13 Feb 2019, 07:38

The long-anticipated Frozen sequel has finally been announced.

Looks to me like the Ice Quartet (and Sven the Reindeer) are stuck on an island somewhere and have to find some way off whilst having many adventures.

So... Does anyone else suspect that they're planning on making Anna a Badass Normal or possibly have her own Spring- or Autumn-themed powers?

Hard to say. The trailer had me thinking it was a serious adventure movie like LotR or a Marvel movie of some kind.  I am not entirely sure whats going on but it looks like an interesting D&D campaign.

The Autumn girl in the trailer is definitely not Anna, that's a new person

It's at least a sequel to an original IP, and the first is one of their masterpieces.

They could certainly do a lot worse, I'd like to see it.

I'm wondering if we're seeing the beginning of an 'element quest'. Somehow, Elsa learns that she is not the only 'element witch' in the world. There are many people with elemental powers and she goes to seek them out. Possibly there is information brought to her attention that they are either a threat or needed to avert a threat.

So, Elsa has to go off and find all those who can manipulate the elements. We have seen what appears to be an air wielder and a fire wielder.

Maybe there is either going to be further films or a spin-off show on Disney+ following Elsa's quest further and also her adventures in statecraft back home in Arendelle. Similar to how Riders of Berk and Race to the Edge filled in the gaps between the first two H2TYD films.
