ELLIOT: "If I am getting this right we start at the base of wrist and go all the way to the tip of the index finger?"

My maternal grandpa is from Kenosha. (probably explains some of my word choices.)

I'm on the wrist, second wrinkle, about due south of Ann Arbor. I'm on the part of the wrist the right hand traded to the arm in exchange for the left hand. But I've spent many a pleasant afternoon at the base of the right thumb.
A Yooper did show me the left-hand trick for mapping da Yoop, after I returned her tape of Da Yoopers that I'd borrowed.
