Dear Powers That Be,
Please bring an American version of this quiz show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGupZhiIAZA) to television.
(My cousin turned us onto the show when my wife and I spent last weekend with him and his partner, and we love it, but some of the references/clues are in subjects that almost nobody outside the UK would know, so we have almost no chance to "play at home" with those. We need a US version.)

That would be awesome, but this show would never be allowed on U.S. television. Far too much classical music, far too few fart noises.

Oh for some reason I read quiz show and assumed it was The Big Fat Quiz Show of the Year and loved the ones where Russell Brand and Noel Fielding were teamed up.
I think that would be cool to see an American one too.

The thing that drives me crazy about the way these people play the 16-clue board is they waste so much time arguing at the beginning, when the goal should be to get the first two sets as quickly as possible, to give yourself lots of time when the number of guesses is limited.
edit -- The guy in the red shirt in this episode (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IKAR8eadsw) was one of the hosts on the U.S. game show "The Chase".
edit2 -- Considering the host's final line in this episode (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBkShjtnLfI), I'm not sure, given the history of the aristocracy in Europe, that the British have any room to make fun of inbreeding in Arkansas.

edit -- also, the difficulty level assigned to the puzzles appears to be random. I've found "hard" puzzles that were very easy, and "very easy" puzzles that were impossible.

I came at this show via discovering Tom Scott's videos on YouTube, and the recommendations led to some episodes he was on in season 3 or 4. Clever mechanic that keeps it from being just Q&A, but still a direct enough test of knowledge and trivia where you don't bore of the bells and whistles of other game shows. Haven't had time to properly binge too many more episodes, but I see there are lots of seasons to get through!
