Episodes 1 and 2 for Obi-Wan came out today. They were great. I am a bit confused on the ending of episode 2 considering what I know about the Inquisitors from Rebels.
Is the Grand Inquisitor dead, or just mostly dead? I thought he dies to Kanan in Rebels.
Unfortunately, the way they did it, almost half of Boba Fett will be required continuity to understand the Mandalorian timeline for future "boxed sets" of that series.
Edit: should also add, enjoying Obi Wan as well. At first I was starting to wonder if we were getting into "why doesn't this character remember this?" but thinking harder on it, it actually kind of makes sense.

I think that you're misunderstanding the timeline.
The Grand Inquisitor's death is still about a decade into the future.
Also, Jedi: Fallen Order 2 has been announced for some time in 2023
Even if it were not so, Death is Merely a Setback anyway
Just watched episode 3 of Obi-Wan. I am loving this and based off the formula of the heroes journey they seem to be doing I am pretty sure in the next episode
Qui-Gon's ghost will show up, or some sort of "A-Ha!" moment for Obi-Wan to get over his fear and become a good jedi again and go after Leia. One more fight with Vader and kicking his ass.
Its just a guess, I have no fore knowledge, but being that we've seen elements of it in the first two episodes
Call to action, reject the call, passing the threshold, etc
I have a feeling it will happen.
I just want a whole ass bit of Leia sassing Third Sister so hard that Vader joins in.
I just finished and wow. I loved it. I was not expecting what happened with Reva, but the whole episode was great and the endings all were perfect. I think episode 6 is more or less what fans wanted as a Kenobi show since the conclusion of Revenge of the Sith.
The final duel with Vader was awesome, like a true jedi fight, using lightsabers, force powers, techniques, and emotion. The scene with Vader's mask ripped open and his lines were the nail int he coffin for their story and it was beautiful. I loved that he got to meet Luke with Owen's approval, the defense of the farmstead, the tear jerking moment with Leia about who her parents were, just all of it was great. And Reva's breakdown at the end was great. She just couldn't bring herself to kill a child. She just couldn't understand why Anakin could. And Obi-Wan being there to console her, like a real Jedi Master, was just great. And finally, Qui-Gon Jin showed up.
I know people will nitpick the entire 6 episode series apart, but in all honesty, I loved this series. The final episode was wonderful. O0
