I saw Repo Man (1984) mentioned a few times, recently. Some said they enjoyed it. I love it. (https://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php/topic,8037.msg1454411.html#msg1454411) Some said they didn't really understand it.

I think we had that playing on our TV over thanksgiving. I didn't pay much attention, but I recall a few pointedly funny scenes, and how bleak their town looked. I think I'm gonna find and watch it this weekend. I've never really cared about spoilers, so I'm gonna watch the Criterion Retrospective review (https://youtube.com/watch?v=TETfSlNWm8k) (thanks Marf (https://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php/topic,8037.msg1454411.html#msg1454411)) - I was gonna say tonight, but it's getting late. I like how, later, we see Kevin and Mr. Humphries in the same house---so he's not nepotist.
