Title: i'm new and i have a question
Post by: przxqgl on 16 Jul 2021, 19:24: hi, i'm przxqgl, which is pronounced exactly like it's spelled.

up until recently, i had electronic copies of all 6 of jeph's QC books, but i fell victim to a bug that they've known about since 2018, but never told anyone, where anyone with the IP address for the device can login as admin and delete all the data.

among the data that was deleted ( :x) were all 6 of jeph's books...

is there any way, short of re-purchasing them, that i can get new copies?

I was not even aware of the existence of download versions of the books... Anyway, they are sold and supplied by Topatoco, so your best bet is to contact them through their help page (https://topatoco.zendesk.com/hc/en-us).

i wrote to topatoco with my issue, and "Lucid John" from their helpdesk provided me with a download link for all 6 books. :-o

that's "pyrzxqgyl"... "przxqgl" is my approximation of how i think it may be pronounced... but it still doesn't work.

a friend of mine incorrectly believes it's "per-zux-qua-gul", but she's wrong.

i think it's more along the lines of "per-zix-quiggle", but that's not exactly right, either. 8-)
