Title: How to learn video production/editing?
Post by: Is it cold in here? on 12 Jan 2022, 09:18
It's the new reading and writing, and if that weren't enough, I have a public service project in mind that I'm passionate about.

Not the same question as https://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php/topic,30695.0.html#lastPost, which is about someone who knows video but was figuring out navigating YouTube.

I've dived into Kapwing and the online tutorials. I cringe at my initial results. It's for an audience of young people who today I am sure expect respectable production values.

https://www.skillshare.com/ has video editing classes. First month is free, might be worth a look?

There's a course that says it's for clueless people, so that looks like a good start.

EDIT:

Looking really good and giving me practical introductory advice. Thank you, Farideh.
