I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with all of you.  I think it's kind of dumb and besides that, looks like ass.  Interesting craftsmanship for worthless purpose.

I would just take the case off of a whole laptop.. instead of trying to build the wood over the MB..

Yeah, get with times. Computers are so last year. It's all about Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction processors. I totally didn't make that up either. No seriously, they are real.
