Title: What in hell squared is wrong with German people?!
Post by: Coreh on 07 Apr 2005, 13:55
After listening to Rammstein and the Run Lola Run soundtrack, and some other German music, I've come to the conclusion that German music is like, really cold. WHY ARE THEY SO SAD? I think it may be David Hasselhoff's fault.

All this crazy music... I love it.

Try out Can's Tago Mago album sometime.  I consider it to be an essential listen for anyone!

Also Amon Düül II's Yeti if you're into classic 60s/70s psych freakouts.

Yacopsae is the second craziest band I've ever heard, they're German.  Grindcore with whistling, wow.

Actually, aren't Tankard German? They're totally awesome. Making booze the central theme of a heavy metal band is an inspired move!

Man, the Run Lola Run soundtrack is bloody amazing. Going to Berlin in 3 weeks, can't freaking wait!
