This isn't anything to do with the movie quote game.
I was thinking it'd be kinda cool if people posted their favourite quotes from movies, books, TV (so basically any quote that isn't something yer friend larry said the other day)
It'd be good if you gave a reason for the quote too I guess...:-)
Well here's mine to start it:

That you are able to sit here right now in this one never-to-be-repeated moment, reading this book, eating bon-bons, dreaming about hot sex with that scrumptious person from accounts, speculatively sniffing your armpits, doing whatever you are doing - just existing - is really wondrous beyond belief.

Bill Bryson is a funny guy. He's bloody smart too. This quote basically encompasses all that is great about Bill Brysons books. It's funny, well thought out and makes you feel good :-)
